Established in the late ’90s, the Real Estate One Family Charitable Foundation has been on the mission to give back to the community. With over 2500 employees and sales associates across multiple brands, the company has prided itself on making an impact through local partnerships. Last year, after participating in the global GivingTuesday movement, the company raised over $270,000 in one day for causes across the state, pushing company contributions over the $1 Million mark for local charities. Over the course of the foundation’s inception, over $7 Million have been raised.

According to Stuart Elsea, President of Financial Services, "The word ‘Family’ is a key component of the Real Estate One Family of Companies. It punctuates our dedication not only to one another during difficult times, but also our willingness to assist those in need in the 200 communities we serve. We are extremely proud of our relationship (with our partner charities) and have tremendous respect for the agents and employees who give their time, skill and passion to these charities. These individuals represent the best of humanity and a level of character we should all strive to emulate in our own lives."

Jennifer Essary, Real Estate One Charitable Foundation Manager, shared, “The work of this past year is the greatest representation of the incredible giving spirit of our people. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with such generous and caring individuals.” Through the raising of funds and volunteering, the Real Estate One Family Charitable Foundation partners with local community organizations including Forgotten Harvest, Child and Family Services of Northwestern Michigan and Ozone House, plus state chapters of national organizations such as Special Olympics Michigan, the Alzheimer’s Association, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
